Dance production with audio description and a tactile tour for blind and visually impaired people

1.9.2024

This year, the Ruhrtriennale is presenting a dance production with audio description and a tactile tour for blind and visually impaired people.

The piece is called: FUTUR PROCHE. It is a dance piece by Jan Martens, a choreographer from Belgium. The piece asks what our future will look like. There is no clear answer, but we can try to shape it together. FUTUR PROCHE is an attempt to find an expression for our immediate future. The dancers of the Flanders Opera Ballet embody a driven but intimate community in an increasingly threatening environment. In their midst, the musician Gośka Isphording plays the harpsichord.
