Dancing Ears! A dance performance with music for the little ones

In our new series Little Ears, Tiny Feet children under 6 and their families experience a performance that invites them to listen, watch and join in. In an atmosphere of trust the festival’s smallest visitors can participate in a fantasy-filled performance with music and dance. It appeals to and involves all the senses in a playful way, just like the children themselves. This results in an holistic experience that offers scope for the children’s delight in discovering movement and sound. With AORTA, the Belgian company Theater De Spiegel have created a play for children aged between nine months and five years that investigates the engine that powers movement. This search is accompanied by musical themes ranging from Debussy to Schubert. After the performance the young audience can explore the stage space together with the performers – because curiosity is one of the things that drives us best!

Production: Theater De Spiegel; Coproductie: Perpodium, with the support of the Belgian taxshelter via Cronos Invest.
